Room hire

BH Entrance HallSince 1875 the Society has held its meetings and carried out its charitable objectives from its splendid apartments in Burlington House, which houses its magnificent collections including the country's leading archaeological library. Most rooms are decorated in period style and many have beautiful bookcases, antiquities, historic portraits and important works of art as a backdrop.

BH Council Room

Organisations with similar interests and purpose to the Society frequently hold their meetings and conferences at Burlington House and the Society is keen to welcome other groups from the cultural heritage sector and beyond to share our unique facilities.

Our suite of meeting rooms is adaptable to different combinations or uses, and is ideally suited to seminars or conferences where a main room and break-out rooms are required, or a lecture theatre and separate reception areas for lunches and refreshment breaks. Alternatively, the rooms provide a refreshingly different but inspiring setting for board or committee meetings, think-tanks, brain-storming sessions or product launches. Just let us know what you require and we will do our best to accommodate it.BH Meeting RoomMeeting room 1
